In their message to the Brown community on Wednesday, Provost Doyle and Vice President Latham claimed that a 0% raise was a “fair” offer to graduate workers while average rents in Providence have consistently risen 10% or MORE per year. Our union’s contract expires on June 30th at 11:59 pm. Why has it gotten this far? Because Brown told us NO RAISE, NO RIGHTS, NO RECOGNITION.
