Providence FOOD banks and food DRIVEs

In response to the federal government’s decision to deny working-class people across this country, and in our very own city, their SNAP benefits starting this November, our community is stepping up. Local organizations have begun collecting food to help ensure our neighbors and the food pantries they’ll visit have the resources they need to meet this moment.

Because when institutions fail us, we take care of each other. We keep each other safe.

Donate if you can to the organizations collecting boxes in our area. If you know of any other collection boxes, reach out to comms@glounion.org and we’ll add them to the list.

Here is a list of food banks near Providence for anyone who is facing food insecurity.
